Chronology
Taking place 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The Rohir War tells the story of the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a clever and ruthless lord of Dunlending seeking revenge for the death of his father, forces Helm and his people to make a last, valiant stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg – a mighty fortress that would later become known as Helm’s Trough. Hera, Helm’s daughter, finds herself in an increasingly desperate situation and must summon the will to lead a resistance against a deadly enemy bent on their total destruction.
